Hello everyone,

My name is Larry. I am from Kansas City Missouri, home of the Kansas City Chiefs. I am a Kansas City Missouri Police Officer and have been one for 9 years.

My wife and I first started in photography 3 years ago. I sent her to school so she could do the photography which she did great. While she was doing this, I got interested in it which it became a passion for me. I started to buy books and equipment and eventually I taught myself about the camera and lighting. It started out with my wife taking the photos and ended up with me taking them and her being the helper.

I do allot of natural light shots now but I am getting better with artificial light. Right now I am in the process of getting more lighting equipment and learning the aspects of artificial lighting.

For the past 6 months I have been using artificial lighting about 40 percent of the time.

In my spare time I have been shooting weddings. It is allot of fun doing this but I need to gain more experience using artificial lighting to be a better photographer.

I really looking forward to this workshop and working with everyone involved. This should be a learning experience for us all.
